• Description: The VCA-domains of members of the Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome family protein, like WAVE (WASP family verprolin homologous) activate in vitro the nucleation ability of Arp 2/3, which is itself a constitutively inactive complex.
  The recombinant VCA-domain is supplied as GST-tagged peptide (~35 kDa) expressed in E. coli, purified on GST-Sepharose further column purified by gel filtration.
• Form: 150mM NaCl, 20mM Hepes pH 7.4, 1mM DTT and 5% sucrose, when reconstituted with 250 µl ultrapure water to obtain a 1.0 mg/ml solution.

• Purity: >99% by scanning densitometry from Coomassie G-250 stained SDS-Gels.
