Recombinant MERS-CoV Spike protein(Glu367-Tyr606), His&Avi-tagged, Biotinylated

Cat.No. : Spike-1173M
Product Overview : Biotinylated Recombinant MERS-CoV spike (AFS88936.1) (Glu367-Tyr606) was expressed in HEK293 with a c-terminal AVI tagged polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus. The expressed protein was biotinylated in vivo by the Biotin-Protein ligase (BirA enzyme) which is co-expressed.

Source : HEK293
Species : MERS-CoV
Tag : C-His&Avi
Protein length : Glu367-Tyr606
Conjugation/Label : Biotin
Form : Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4. Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Molecular Mass : The recombinant MERS-CoV spike consists of 267 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 29.6 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, it migrates as an approximately 37.9 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin : < 1.0 EU per μg protein as determined by the LAL method.
Purity : > 95 % as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Storage : Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20°C to -80°C. Store it under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitution : It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.2 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4°C before opening to recover the entire contents.
