• Description: Frizzled-4 (FZD4) is a Frizzled Receptor involved in mediating Wnt signaling that is widely expressed, particularly in heart, skeletal muscle, ovary, and fetal kidney. FZD4 functions as a ligand-receptor pair to control vascular development in the retina and inner ear. Fz4 expression may play a critical role in responses to Wnt signaling in the tumor microenvironment.
