Description : The protein encoded by this gene is a subunit of a disulfide-linked homotrimeric protein. This protein is an adhesive glycoprotein that mediates cell-to-cell and cell-to-matrix interactions. This protein can bind to fibrinogen, fibronectin, laminin, type V collagen and integrins alpha-V/beta-1. This protein has been shown to play roles in platelet aggregation, angiogenesis, and tumorigenesis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
Source : E. coli
Species : Mouse
Tag : His
Form : Freeze-dried powder
Molecular Mass : Predicted Molecular Mass: 21.6kDa
Protein length : Phe957~Lys1129 (Accession # P35441)
Endotoxin : <1.0EU per 1µg (determined by the LAL method)
Purity : >95%
Characteristic : The isoelectric point is 9.
Applications : SDS-PAGE; WB; ELISA; IP
Stability : The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage : Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Store at 2-8°C for one month. Aliquot and store at -80°C for 12 months.
