• Description: C-C chemokine ligand 5 (CCL5), also known as RANTES, is a target gene of NF-kappaB, and is expressed by T lymphocytes, macrophages, platelets, synovial fibroblasts, tubular epithelium, and certain types of tumour cells. CCL5 plays a role in recruiting a variety of leukocytes into inflammatory sites including T cells, macrophages, eosinophils, and basophils. CCL5 activity is mediated through its binding to CCR1, CCR3, and mainly CCR5.
• Form: Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS, pH7.4 with trehalose as protectant.
• Bio-activity: Immobilized Human CCL5/RANTES Protein, Tag Free at 5 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Human CCR2 Full Length Protein, Flag, His Tag with a linear range of 0.005-0.313 μg/mL.
• Molecular Mass: The protein has a calculated MW of 7.9 kDa. The protein migrates as 8-9 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE).
• Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
• Storage: This product is stable after storage at: -20 to -70 centigrade for 12 months in lyophilized state; -70 centigrade for 3 months under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
