Description: Icam1binds the leukocyte integrins LFA-1 and Mac-1. Icam1 expression is weak onleukocytes, epithelial and resting endothelial cells, as well as some othercell types, but expression can be stimulated by IFN-γ, TNF-α, IL-1β and LPS.Mouse and human Icam1 share approximately 54% amino acid identity.
