Recombinant Human Interleukin 9 Receptor, His-tagged

Cat. No.: IL9R-5664H
Product Overview: RecombinantHuman IL9R protein was expressed in Murine myeloma cell line. Val40-Pro270,with a C-terminal 10-His tag.
Description: The specifichigh affinity functional IL9R complex consists of a ligand-specific IL9R (α) subunitand the common γ chain that is shared with the receptors for IL-2, IL-4, IL-7and IL-15. Both the IL9R subunit and the common γ chain are members of thehematopoietin receptor superfamily. The cDNAs encoding mouse and human IL-9receptors have been isolated. The deduced mouse and human transmembrane proteins, sharing 53% amino acid sequence identity, contain 468 and 533 amino acid residues, respectively. As a result of alternative splicing, cDNA clones encodingisoforms of IL9R, including a putative soluble form, have also been identified.
Source: Murine myeloma cellline, NS0-derived.
Form: Lyophilized from a0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS and NaCl with BSA as a carrier protein.
N-terminalSequence: Val40
MolecularWeight: 27.4 kDa
Activity: Measuredby its ability to inhibit the IL-9-dependent proliferation of MO7e human megakaryocyticleukemic cells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 1-4 μg/mL in thepresence of 5 ng/mL of rhIL-9.
Endotoxin Level: <1.0EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
SDS-PAGE: 38 kDa,reducing conditions.
Purity: >95%,by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Reconstitution: 250 μg/mLin sterile PBS containing at least 0.1% human or bovine serum albumin
Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thawcycles. 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied. 1month, 2 to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3 months, -20 to-70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
