Cat. No. : KLRK1-5673H
Description : KLRK1 is a type IItransmembrane glycoprotein having an extracellular lectin-like domain. Thisdomain lacks the recognizable calcium-binding sites found in true C-typelectins and binds protein rather than carbohydrate ligands. Human KLRK1 isexpressed on CD8+ αβ T cells, γδ T cells, NK cells and NKT cells. In mousesystems KLRK1 also occurs on macrophages. Human ligands for KLRK1 includeMICA, MICB, and ULBP1, 2, and 3. Expression of KLRK1 ligands occurs inepithelial cells, tumor cells and under conditions of stress or infection.
Source : Mammalian cells
Form : Lyophilized from a0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS.
N-terminalSequence : Met
Molecular Weight : 43 kDa
Activity : Measuredby its ability to bind its ligand, rhMICA/Fc Chimera in a functional ELISA.
