Recombinant Mouse Interleukin 12b

Cat. No.: Il12b-643M
Product Overview: RecombinantMouse Il12b protein was expressed in Spodopterafrugiperda. Met23-Ser335.
Description: Il12b is apleiotropic cytokine originally identified in the medium of activated human Blymphoblastoid cell lines. Il12b has multiple effectson T cells and NK cells and is a key mediator in the development of Th1cells. Il12b is aheterodimeric cytokine containing two disulfidelinked subunits, p35 and p40.
Source: Spodopterafrugiperda,Sf 21 (baculovirus)-derived.
Form: Lyophilizedfrom a 0.2 um filtered solution in PBS with BSA as a carrier protein.
N-terminalSequence: Met23
MolecularWeight: 35.8 kDa (monomer)
Activity: Measuredby its ability to inhibit the Il12b dependentproliferation of mouse splenocytes activated with PHA and IL-2. The ED50 forthis effect is typically 1-3 ng/mL in the presence of 0.3 ng/mL of mouse Il12b.
Endotoxin Level: <1.0EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Purity: >97%,by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Reconstitution: Reconstituteat 10μg/mL in sterile PBS containing at least 0.1% human or bovine serumalbumin.
Storage: Use amanual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freezethaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied.1 month, 2 to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3months, -20 to -70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
