Recombinant Human Aldehyde Dehydrogenase 3 Family, Member B2, His-tagged
Cat.No. : |
ALDH3B2-498H |
Product Overview : |
TheHuman ALDH3B2 protein was expressed as 6 His-tagged fusion proteins by E.coli and purified by Ni-sepharose. The purifiedALDH3B2 was resolved in 1M PBS (58mM Na2HPO4,17mM NaH2PO4, 68mM NaCl, pH8) added with 300mMImidazole and 0.7% Sarcosyl, 15% glycerol. MW=38 kDa. |

Description : |
Aldehydedehydrogenase family 3 members B2 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by theALDH3B2 gene. This gene encodes a member of the aldehyde dehydrogenasefamily, a group of isozymes that may play a major role in the detoxificationof aldehydes generated by alcohol metabolism and lipid peroxidation. The geneof this particular family member is over 10 kb in length. The expression ofthese transcripts is restricted to the salivary gland among the human tissuesexamined. Alternate transcriptional splice variants have been characterized. |
