Description : This gene encodes a member of the beta-1,3-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase family. This enzyme is a type II transmembrane protein and contains a signal anchor that is not cleaved. It prefers the substrates of lacto-N-tetraose and lacto-N-neotetraose, and is involved in the biosynthesis of poly-N-acetyllactosamine chains and the biosynthesis of the backbone structure of dimeric sialyl Lewis a. It plays dominant roles in L-selectin ligand biosynthesis, lymphocyte homing and lymphocyte trafficking.
Source : E.coli
Species : Human
Tag : His
Protein length : 34-372a.a.
Storage : The protein is stored in PBS buffer at -20℃. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
Storage Buffer : 1M PBS (58mM Na2HPO4,17mM NaH2PO4, 68mM NaCl, pH8. ) added with 300mM Imidazole and 0.7% Sarcosyl, 15%glycerol.
