Recombinant Human glycoprotein Ibα, His-tagged, double sulfated

Cat.No.: GP1BA-17H
Product Overview: Recombinant human GP1BA, fused with an C-terminal hexahistidine tag, was expressed in HEK293-EBNA1 cells. In the native protein the tyrosine residues at positions 292, 294 and 295 are sulfated. In this product two of the three tyrosines are sulfated.
Description: Glycoprotein Ibα is part of the platelet receptor Glycoprotein Ib-XI-V complex. The Glycoprotein Ib-XI-V complex mediates binding of platelets to sites of vascular damage. This product consists of residues 17-306 of glycoprotein Ibα and contains the binding sites for Von Willebrand Factor, thrombin and botrocetin. The two N-linked glycoslation sites , Asn37 and Asn175, have been removed by mutation to glutamine.
Source: HEK293-EBNA1 cells
