Cat. No. : | IL12B -177H |
Product Overview : | Recombinant human IL-12 p40 is a 40 kDa protein containing 306 amino acid residues. It was expressed in E.Coli. |
Description : | Interleukin-12 is a disulfide-linked heterodimeric protein (p70), composed of two subunits, p35 and p40, which are encoded by two different genes. Accumulating data indicate that p40 secretion precedes that of IL-12 expression. In addition, to its ability to covalently bind to p35 to form IL-12, p40 can bind to p19 to form IL-23. |
Source : | E.Coli. |
Purity : | > 95% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analysis. |
Endotoxin Level : | < 0.1 ng per μg of IL-12p40. |
Stabilizer : | None. |
Formulation : | Lyophilized. |
Biological Activity : | Not available. |
Reconstitution : | The human IL-12p40 should be reconstituted in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. This solution can be diluted in water or other buffer solutions or stored at -20°C. |
Stability : | The lyophilized protein is stable for a few weeks at room temperature, but best stored at -20°C. Reconstituted human IL-12p40 should be stored in working aliquots at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
