Recombinant Human Dipeptidyl-Peptidase 3, GST-tagged

Cat. No.: DPP3-515H
Product Overview: Recombinant Human DPP3 (full length) was expressed in aBaculovirus infected Sf9cell expression system with N-terminal GST tag. MW=109 kDa.
Description: Dipeptidyl-peptidase 3 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the DPP3 gene. This gene encodes a protein that is a member of the S9B family in clan SC of the serine proteases. This cytoplasmic protein binds a single zinc ion with its zinc-binding motif (HELLGH) and has post-proline dipeptidyl aminopeptidase activity, cleaving Xaa-Pro dipeptides from the N-termini of proteins. Increased activity of this protein is associated with endometrial and ovarian cancers. Alternate transcriptional splice variants have been characterized.
Source: Sf9.
Formulated In: 25 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 100 mM NaCl, 0.05% Tween-20, 50% glycerol, and 3 mM DTT.
Application: Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
Purity: > 70%.
