Recombinant Human Nei Endonuclease VIII-like 2 (E. coli)

Cat. No.: NEIL2-2042H
Product Overview: Recombinant human Neil2 was expressed inE. coli, 38kDa.
Description: Endonuclease VIII-like 2 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the NEIL2 gene. NEIL2 belongs to a class of DNA glycosylases homologous to the bacterial Fpg/Nei family. These glycosylases initiate the first step in base excision repair by cleaving bases damaged by reactive oxygen species and introducing a DNA strand break via the associated lyase reaction.
Source: E. coli.
Purity: 90% by SDS PAGE and Coomassie blue staining.
Buffer Component: 20mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 300mM NaCl, 10% glycerol.
Storage: Stable for 2 years at -70°C from date of shipment. Please aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
