Recombinant Human TNFSF13, FLAG-tagged

Cat. No.: TNFSF13-2091H
Product Overview: Recombinant HumanTNFSF13 Produced inHEK 293 cells. The extracellular domain of human APRIL (aa 88-233) is fused at the N-terminus to human ACRP30headless (aa 16-108) and a FLAG-tag. MW=34kDa (SDS-PAGE).
Description: The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. This protein is a ligand for TNFRSF17/BCMA, a member of the TNF receptor family. This protein and its receptor are both found to be important for B cell development. In vitro experiments suggested that this protein may be able to induce apoptosis through its interaction with other TNF receptor family proteins such as TNFRSF6/FAS and TNFRSF14/HVEM.
Source: HEK 293 cells.
Concentration: 0.1mg/ml after reconstitution.
Purity: ≥95% (SDS-PAGE).
Formulation: Lyophilized. Contains PBS.
Endotoxin Content: <0.1EU/µg purified protein (LAL test; Bio Whittaker).
Reconstitution: Reconstitute with 100µl sterile water. Further dilutions should be made with medium containing 5% fetal calf serum.
Specificity: Binds to human and mouse BCMA and TACI. Binds to proteoglycans.
Biological Activity: Stimulates proliferation of serum-starved NIH 3T3 cells. Stimulates B cell proliferation.
