||Cleaved Cdk5 activator is an essential regulating subunit of cdk5. Aberrant Cdk5 activity has been implicated in a number of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer"s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and Parkinson"s disease, where abnormal phosphorylation of tau and/or neurofilaments has been observed. One vial contains sufficient material for approximately 25 reactions.
