Recombinant Human AIMP1, His-tagged

Cat. No. : AIMP1-940H
Product Overview : Recombinant human AIMP1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed inE.coliand purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. MW = 39.2 kDa (356aa).
Description : AIMP1, also known as EMPA2 or p43, is a cytokine that is specifically induced by apoptosis, and it is involved in the control of angiogenesis, inflammation, and wound healing. The release of this cytokine renders the tumor-associated vasculature sensitive to tumor necrosis factor. This protein is also involved in the stimulation of inflammatory responses after proteolytic cleavage in tumor cells.
Source : E.coli.
Form : Liquid. In 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0) containing 0.2M NaCl, 2mM DTT, 10% glycerol.
Purity : > 85% by SDS - PAGE.
Concentration : 0.25 mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay).
