Cat.No. : | FGF13-8155H Optional Service: Optional requirements on this protein |
Product Overview : | Recombinant Human FGF13 aa. (Glu63~Thr245 (Accession # Q92913)) fused with N-terminal His tag was produced in E. coli cells. |
Description : | The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities, and are involved in a variety of biological processes, including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth, and invasion. This gene is located in a region on chromosome X, which is associated with Borjeson-Forssman-Lehmann syndrome (BFLS), making it a possible candidate gene for familial cases of the BFLS, and for other syndromal and nonspecific forms of X-linked cognitive disability mapping to this region. Alternative splicing of this gene at the 5' end results in several transcript variants encoding different isoforms with different N-termini. |
Source : | E. coli |
Species : | Human |
Tag : | His |
Form : | Freeze-dried powder |
Molecular Mass : | 22 kDa as determined by SDS-PAGE reducing conditions |
Protein length : | Glu63~Thr245 (Accession # Q92913) |

Stability : | The thermal stability is described by the loss rate of the target protein. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. (Referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calculated by the Arrhenius equation.) The loss of this protein is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. |
