|Product Overview :||Recombinant Human LRP5 (Glu644-Gln1263) protein was fused to mouse IgG2a Fc tag at C-terminus and expressed in human 293 cells (HEK293).|
|Description :||Low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 5(LRP-5) is also known as BMND1, EVR1, EVR4, HBM, LR3, LRP7, OPPG, OPTA1, VBCH2, LDL receptor related protein 5 and PCLD4. LRP5 is a transmembrane low-density lipoprotein receptor that shares a similar structure with LRP6. LRP5 acts as a co-receptor with LRP6 and the Frizzled protein family members for transducing signals by Wnt proteins through the canonical Wnt pathway. This protein plays a key role in skeletal homeostasis. Mutations in LRP5 can lead to considerable changes in bone mass. A loss-of-function mutation causes osteoporosis-pseudoglioma (decrease in bone mass), while a gain-of-function mutation causes drastic increases in bone mass.|

|Reconstitution :||It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.2 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4ºC before opening to recover the entire contents.|
|SDS-PAGE of LRP5-284H :||
Human LRP-5, Mouse IgG2a Fc Tag on SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) condition. The gel was stained overnight with Coomassie Blue. The purity of the protein is greater than 90%.
|Bioactivity-ELISA of LRP5-284H :||
Immobilized Biotinylated Human Dkk-1, Fc,Avitag at 5 μg/mL (100 μL/well) on streptavidin precoated (0.5 μg/well) plate, can bind Human LRP-5, Mouse IgG2a Fc Tag with a linear range of 0.5-16 ng/mL (QC tested).
Immobilized Human Dkk-1, His Tag at 5 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Human LRP-5, Mouse IgG2a Fc Tag with a linear range of 0.01-0.313 μg/mL (Routinely tested).
