• Description: Neurocalcin-delta (NCALD) is a member of the recoverin family, which contains four EF-hand domains. Neurocalcin is a neuronal calcium-binding protein that belongs to the neuronal calcium sensor (NCS) family of proteins. Neurocalcin is expressed in mammalian brains and possesses a Ca2+/myristoyl switch. As for NCALD, it may be involved in the calcium-dependent regulation of rhodopsin phosphorylation. NCALD binds three calcium ions.

• Molecular Mass: This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the N-terminus. The protein has a calculated MW of 23.1 kDa. The protein migrates as 23 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE).
• Endotoxin: Less than 1.0 EU per ug by the LAL method.
• Purity: >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
