Cat. No. : TNFRSF21-1604H
Description : Death receptor-6 (DR6), a member of the death domain-containing TNFR superfamily, is highly expressed in lymphoid tissues and regulated upon lymphocyte activation. Targeted disruption of DR6 results in enhanced CD4(+) T cell proliferation and T helper 2 differentiation in vitro. DR6 contains an extracellular region and an intracellular region; the intracellular region harbors a death domain that is critical for transduction of apoptotic signals. DR6 interacts with death domain containing adapter molecule TRADD. Overexpression of DR6 induces apoptosis and activates NF-κB and JNK.
Molecular Weight : The predicted molecular weight of Recombinant Human DR6 is Mr 60.3 kDa. However, the actual molecular weight as observed by migration on SDS Page is Mr 65-75 kDa.
Source : Sf 21 Insect Cells.
State Of Matter : Lyophilized.
Purity : >95% by SDS Page and analyzed by silver stain.
Endotoxin : <1.0 EU/µg as determined by the LAL method.
Storage And Stability : This lyophilized protein is stable for six to twelve months when stored desiccated at -20°C to -70°C. After aseptic reconstitution, this protein may be stored at 2°C to 8°C for one month or at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles. See Product Insert for exact lot specific storage instructions.
