Ask a question
Does LDHB play a role in heart disease? 03/08/2022

Yes, LDHB dysregulation is associated with heart conditions like myocardial infarction (heart attack) and heart failure.

Are there specific populations more susceptible to LDHB-related conditions? 10/12/2020

While LDHB-related diseases can affect anyone, some genetic predispositions may heighten the risk in certain ethnic groups.

How is LDHB protein clinically relevant? 01/14/2020

It plays a role in various physiological processes and has implications in disease states.

How does LDHB contribute to cancer? 09/07/2019

In certain cancers, elevated LDHB levels promote tumor growth by supporting the Warburg effect, where cancer cells use glycolysis even in the presence of oxygen.

Can LDHB be a therapeutic target in cancer treatment? 03/19/2016

Targeting LDHB shows promise in inhibiting cancer growth, and there's ongoing research in developing drugs that target this enzyme.
