Recombinant Mouse Tnf Protein, His-Avi-tagged, Biotinylated

Cat.No.: Tnf-495M
Product Overview: Biotinylated Mouse TNF-alpha Protein, His Tag is expressed from HEK293 cells. It contains AA Leu 80 - Leu 235 (Accession # P06804). This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, followed by an Avi tag.
Source: HEK293
Species: Mouse
Tag : His-Avi
Predicted N Terminal: Leu 80
Form: Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS, pH7.4, 10% trehalose.
Bio-activity: Immobilized Human TNFR1, Fc Tag at 5 ug/mL (100 ul/well) can bind Biotinylated Mouse TNF-alpha Protein, His Tag with a linear range of 0.8-12.5 ug/mL.
Molecular Mass: The protein has a calculated MW of 20.2 kDa. The protein migrates as 21 kDa on a SDS-PAGE gel under reducing condition due to glycosylation. More than 90% of Biotinylated Mouse TNF-alpha Protein, His Tag presents as active trimers with a molecular mass of 60 kDa, as determined by SEC-HPLC analysis.
Endotoxin: < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method.
Purity: >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
>95% as determined by SEC-HPLC.
Characteristic: Biotinylation of this product is performed using Avitag technology. Briefly, the single lysine residue in the Avitag is enzymatically labeled with biotin. The biotin to protein ratio is 0.8-1 as determined by the HABA assay.
Stability: Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -70ºC.
Storage: For long term storage, the product should be stored at lyophilized state at -20ºC or lower. Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. No activity loss is observed after storage at: 4-8ºC for 12 months in lyophilized state; -70ºC for 3 months under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
Reconstitution: It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.2 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4ºC before opening to recover the entire contents.
