Cat. No. : | Ccl5-104R |
Description : | RANTES is a protein which has been shown to be a chemoattractant for peripheral blood monocytes. It appears to selectively attract T cells of the CD4+/CD45RO+ phenotype in vitro. |
Source : | E.coli. |
Purity : | > 98% (SDS-PAGE; HPLC). |
Endotoxin level : | < 0.1 ng/g of RANTES. |
Stabilizer : | None. |
Formulation : | Lyophilized. |
Biologically Activity : | Rat RANTES produces chemotaxis over a wide concentration range in an assay using rat peritoneal macrophages. Significant chemotaxis was achieved using a concentration of 10-50 ng/ml. |
Reconstitution : | The lyophilized RANTES is soluble in water and most aqueous buffers. The lyophilized powder should be reconstituted in water to a concentration of 100 ng/µl. It is recommended that further dilutions be made into buffer containing carrier protein or medium containing serum. |
Stability : | The lyophilized powder, though stable at room temperature, is best stored desiccated below 0°C. Reconstituted RANTES should be stored in working aliquots at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
