TSLP
-
Official Full Name
thymic stromal lymphopoietin
-
Overview
This gene encodes a hemopoietic cytokine proposed to signal through a heterodimeric receptor complex composed of the thymic stromal lymphopoietin receptor and the IL-7R alpha chain. It mainly impacts myeloid cells and induces the release of T cell-attracting chemokines from monocytes and enhances the maturation of CD11c(+) dendritic cells. Alternative splicing of this gene results in two transcript variants. -

TSLP involved in several pathways and played different roles in them. We selected most pathways TSLP participated on our site, such as Cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction, Jak-STAT signaling pathway, which may be useful for your reference. Also, other proteins which involved in the same pathway with TSLP were listed below. Creative BioMart supplied nearly all the proteins listed, you can search them on our site.

TSLP has several biochemical functions, for example, cytokine activity. Some of the functions are cooperated with other proteins, some of the functions could acted by TSLP itself. We selected most functions TSLP had, and list some proteins which have the same functions with TSLP. You can find most of the proteins on our site.

TSLP has direct interactions with proteins and molecules. Those interactions were detected by several methods such as yeast two hybrid, co-IP, pull-down and so on. We selected proteins and molecules interacted with TSLP here. Most of them are supplied by our site. Hope this information will be useful for your research of TSLP.

Ask a questionYes, WDR5 has been associated with neurodevelopmental disorders, suggesting a role in non-cancerous diseases as well.
WDR5 regulates the expression of genes critical for neural development, and dysregulation can lead to developmental disorders.
Yes, there are ongoing clinical trials to test the safety and efficacy of WDR5-targeted therapies in cancer patients.
Some studies suggest a potential link between WDR5 and autoimmune diseases, but further research is needed to confirm this association.
Elevated levels of WDR5 in certain cancers can serve as a diagnostic marker when detected in patient samples.
