Cat. No. : LTA-5068H
roduct Overview : Recombinant LTAprotein was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventionalchromatography techniques.
Description : LTA, a member of thetumor necrosis factor family, is a cytokine produced by lymphocytes. Theprotein is highly inducible, secreted, and forms heterotrimers withlymphotoxin-beta which anchor lymphotoxin-alpha to the cell surface. Thisprotein also mediates a large variety of inflammatory, immunostimulatory, andantiviral responses, is involved in the formation of secondary lymphoidorgans during development and plays a role in apoptosis.
