Description : Chemokine (C-Cmotif) ligand 21 (CCL21) is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokinefamily. This chemokine is also known as 6Ckine (because it has six conservedcysteine residues instead of the four cysteines typical to chemokines),exodus-2, and secondary lymphoid-tissue chemokine (SLC). The gene for CCL21is located on human chromosome 9. CCL21 elicits its effects by binding to acell surface chemokine receptor known as CCR7.

Please note that the additionof any carrier protein into this product may produce unwanted endotoxin. Thisdepends upon the particular application employed. Further dilutions should bemade in appropriate buffered solutions.
Storage : Stableat 2-8°C, but best kept desiccated -20°C. Upon reconstitution, stable for upto 1 week at 2-8°C. For longer term, store in working aliquots below -20°C. Avoidrepeated freeze/thaw cycles.
