Cat. No. : GSK3B-1886H
Description : GSTK3Bis a serine threonine protein kinase that was originally identified as thekinase the phosphorylates and inhibits glycogen synthase. GSK3B isubiquitously present in human tissues and implicated in the regulation ofseveral physiological processes, including the control of glycogen andprotein synthesis by insulin, and modulation of the transcription factorsAP-1 and CREB. Transient transfection of human GSK3B into CHO cells stablytransfected with individual human tau isoforms leads to hyperphosphorylationof tau at all the sites investigated with phosphorylation-dependent anti-tauantibodies.
