Recombinant Mouse Interleukin 2 Receptor, Alpha Chain, His-tagged

Cat. No.: Il2ra-5654M
Product Overview: RecombinantMouse Il2ra protein was expressed in Murine myeloma cellline.Glu22-Lys236, with a C-terminal 10-His tag.
Description: Il2ra isa 55 kDa type I membrane glycoprotein that belongs to the family of cytokinereceptors that utilize the common gamma chain subunit. Il2ra is primarilyexpressed on activated T cells and on regulatory T cells (Treg). The mouse Il2racDNA encodes a 268 amino acid (aa) precursor that includes a 21 aa signalpeptide, a 215 aa extracellular domain (ECD) with two Sushi domains, a 21 aatransmembrane segment, and an 11 aa cytoplasmic domain. Within the ECD, mouseIl2ra shares 81% and 58% aa sequence identity with rat and human Il2ra,respectively.
Source: Murine myeloma cellline, NS0-derived.
Form: Lyophilizedfrom a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS.
N-terminalSequence: Glu22
MolecularWeight: 26 kDa
Activity: Measuredby its ability to inhibit the IL-2-dependent proliferation of MO7e humanmegakaryocytic leukemic cells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 0.1-0.4μg/mL in the presence of 30 ng/mL of rhIL-2.
Endotoxin Level: <1.0EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
SDS-PAGE: 40-50kDa, reducing conditions.
Purity: >95%,by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by silver stain.
Reconstitution: 100 μg/mLin sterile PBS
Storage: Use amanual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied.1 month, 2 to 8°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3months, -20 to -70°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
