• Bio-activity: Measured by its ability to inhibit IL36α-induced IL8 secretion in A431 human epithelial carcinoma cells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 0.1-0.4μg/mL in the presence of 20ng/mL IL36α.
• Molecular Mass: The recombinant human IL1F5 consists of 156 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 17.1 KDa. It migrates as an approximately 18 KDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
• Purity: > 99 % as determined by SDS-PAGE
• Storage: Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20°C to -80°C
