Recombinant Human Fibroblast Growth Factor 22

Cat. No.: FGF22-563H
Product Overview: Recombinant Human FGF-22 is a nonglycosylated polypeptide protein consisting of 149 amino acids and a molecular weight of 17.3 kDa.
Description: Human FGF-22 is a member of the FGF-7 subfamily of growth factors. Human FGF-22 shares 86% homology to Mouse FGF-22, and is synthesized by multiple cell lines including neurons, keratinocytes and skeletal muscle myotubes. It is believed to function as an organizer of the presynaptic apparatus.
Species: Human
Source: E.coli
Form: Lyophilized with no additives.
Purity: Purity Greater than 97% as determined by: Analysis by RP-HPLC. Reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered white lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Solubility: Centrifuge vial before opening. When reconstituting the product, gently pipet and wash down the sides of the vial to ensure full recovery of the protein into solution. It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized product with sterile water at a concentration of 0.1mg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Purity Greater than 97% as determined by: Analysis by RP-HPLC. Reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE.
Protein Content determined by: UV spectroscopy at 280 nm. Quantitation on SDS-PAGE against a known standard.
Endotoxin Level: Endotoxin level as measured by LAL is <0.01ng/ug or <0.1EU/ug.
