||Recombinant Human AcylProtein Thioesterase 1/APT1 is produced with our E. coli expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Met1Asp230) of Human APT1 fused with a His tag at the Cterminus.
||AcylProtein Thioesterase 1 (APT1) is lysophospholipase that belongs to the AB hydrolase 2 family. APT1 performs on biological membranes to regulate the multifunctional lysophospholipids. It hydrolyzes fatty acids from Sacylated cysteine residues in proteins such as trimeric G alpha proteins or HRAS; in addition, it also has depalmitoylating activity and low lysophospholipase activity.
