Recombinant Human IL1R1/IL1RAcP, Fc-tagged therapeutic protein

Cat.No.: IL1R1&IL1RAcP-P01H
Product Overview: Recombinant Human IL-1R1&IL-1RAcP, Fc-tagged therapeutic protein, also known as IL-1 Trap, is an interleukin 1 inhibitor. The protein is a dimeric fusion protein consisting of the ligand-binding domains of the extracellular portions of the human interleukin-1 receptor component (IL-1R1) and IL-1 receptor accessory protein (IL-1RAcP) linked in-line to the fragment-crystallizable portion (Fc region) of human IgG1 that binds and neutralizes IL-1.
Description: This gene encodes a cytokine receptor that belongs to the interleukin-1 receptor family. The encoded protein is a receptor for interleukin-1 alpha, interleukin-1 beta, and interleukin-1 receptor antagonist. It is an important mediator involved in many cytokine-induced immune and inflammatory responses. This gene is located in a cluster of related cytokine receptor genes on chromosome 2q12.
