Recombinant Human TNFRSF12A

Cat. No.: TNFRSF12A-582H
Product Overview: This recombinant human TWEAKR is a soluble 5.6 kDa protein, containing 53 amino acid residues. It is produced inE.coli.
Description: TNF-related weak inducer of apoptosis Receptor (TWEAKR) is a secreted type I membrane protein belonging to the distinct superfamily of TNF Receptors. TWEAKR is expressed in many tissues such as the heart, placenta, kidney, pancreas, skeletal muscle and lung. Binding of TWEAKR to TWEAK induces weak apoptosis in some cell lines. TWEAKR has also been found to promote angiogenesis and proliferation of endothelial cells. The actual function of this protein is still unknown.
Source: E.coli.
Amino Acid Sequence: EQAPGTAPCS RGSSWADLD KCMDCASCRA RPHSDFCLGC AAAPPAPFRL LWP.
Note: If this material is not to be used for coating or labeling (or other applications requiring carrier free material), the addition of 0.1% BSA to dilution buffers or dilution in sterile culture media is recommended to enhance stability and minimize absorption to vial. Ideally, maintain stock >10ug/ml.
Supplied: Sterile filtered & lyophilized from 10mM sodium phosphate pH7.5, 50mM NaCl.
Purity: >98% by SDS-Page and HPLC analysis Endotoxin level is less than 0.1ng per ug (1EU/ug).
Reconstitution: At first use, tighten cap, and gently tap on hard surface or centrifuge 1000rpm for 10 seconds to remove any loss material from cap or sides of vial, Carefully open vial and slowly reconstitute with sterile (endotoxin free) DI water to a concentration of 0.1- 1mg/ml. Allow to set at least 30 minutes at 4℃, tighten cap and rotate to reconstitute any material on sides of vial. If desired, you can centrifuge at 1000 rpm for 1minute to concentrate volume in bottom of vial.
Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to inhibit TWEAK-induced weak cell death of HT29 cells. The expected ED50 for this effect is 1.0-3.0 µg/ml.
Storage: The lyophilized powder is stable for a few weeks at room temperature but it is best stored desiccated at -20℃. Reconstituted material should be stored in working aliquots at -20℃. Avoid frequent freeze thaw cycles.
