Cat. No. : MLH1-1306H
Description : MLH1 is an 87kDa protein involved in mismatched nucleotides during DNA replication or repair process. Mutations in the human MLH1 (hMLH1) and hMLH2 genes contribute to the development of sporadic colorectal carcinoma and some other both hereditary and sporadic forms of human cancer. MLH1 is identified as a locus frequently mutated in hereditary nonpolyposis colon cancer (HNPCC). MLH1 is a human homolog of the E. coli DNA mismatch repair gene mutL, consistent with the characteristic modifications in microsatellite sequences (RER+ phenotype) found in HNPCC.
Source : Escherichia Coli.
Applications : • ELISA • Inhibition Assays • Western Blotting.
Physical Appearance : Sterile Filtered clear solution.
Purity : Greater than 95.0% as determined by: (a) Analysis by RP-HPLC (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation : The MLH1 at 100µg/ml in 50mM Tris-Acetate, pH7.5, 1mM EDTA and 20% Glycerol.
Stability : Store vial at -20°C to -80°C. When stored at the recommended temperature, this protein is stable for 12 months. Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
