|Cat. No. :
||Growth differentiation factor 15 (GDF15) is a protein belonging to the transforming growth factor beta superfamily that has a role in regulating inflammatory and apoptotic pathways in injured tissues and during disease processes. GDF15 is also known as TGF-PL, MIC-1, PDF, PLAB, and PTGFB. GDF15 is predominantly expressed in the liver, with lower levels seen in some other tissues.
|Molecular Weight :
||The predicted molecular weight of Recombinant Human MIC-1 is Mr 13 kDa. However, the actual molecular weight as observed by migration on SDS Page is Mr 14 kDa.
|State Of Matter :
||>97% by SDS Page and analyzed by silver stain.
||<1.0 EU/µg as determined by the LAL method.
|Storage And Stability :
||This lyophilized protein is stable for six to twelve months when stored desiccated at -20°C to -70°C. After aseptic reconstitution, this protein may be stored at 2°C to 8°C for one month or at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
