Cat. No. : CCL11-149S
Description : CCL11 is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family that is also known as eotaxin-1. CCL11 selectively recruits eosinophils by inducing their chemotaxis, and therefore, is implicated in allergic responses.
Source : Yeast.
Sequences Of Amino Acids : FPMFKAGRCL CIGPGVKAVK VADIEKVSII HPSNNCDKTE VIVTLKAHKG RRCLNPKSKQ ANVIMKKVER MNFLRYQNV.
Formulation/ Reconstitution : Lyophilized. Reconstitute with sterile phosphate-buffered saline containing at least 0.1% carrier protein.
Purity : >95% as visualized by SDS-PAGE analysis.
Purification : Ion-exchange chromatography.
Biological Activity : The biological activity of recombinant swine CXCL11 was determined in a chemotaxis assay using a Boyden chamber with swine PBMC activated with PHA for 3 days followed by IL-2. Bioactivity is typically detected at 10 ng/mL.
Storage : Stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20°C. Stable for at least 3 months when stored in working aliquots with a carrier protein at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
