Recombinant Human Oxidized Low Density Lipoprotein (Lectin-like) Receptor 1

Cat. No. : OLR1-2451H
Product Overview : Recombinant Human OLR1 consists of a single polypeptide chain corresponding to extracellular domain (58-273 aa) of the whole lectin-like oxidized lipoprotein receptor-1 (LOX-1) molecule without tags. It was produced inE. coli.
Description : LOX-1 is a receptor protein which belongs to the C-type lectin superfamily. Its gene is regulated through the cyclic AMP signaling pathway. The protein binds, internalizes and degrades oxidized low-density lipoprotein. This protein may be involved in the regulation of Fas-induced apoptosis. This protein may play a role as a scavenger receptor.
Source : E. coli.
Purification : >92% pure. Ion-exchange chromatography.
Buffer : Lyophilized from 50mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.6, 150mM Sodium chloride.
Format : Purified, Lyophilized.
Applications : Calibrator or standard in immunoassays, immunogen for antibody production. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
Preservative : None.
Inactivation : Not applicable.
Storage : Store lyophilized product at -70°C. After reconstitution, aliquot and store at -70°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
