Protein Length : |
254-373 a.a. |
Form : |
Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in 50 mM Tris, 100 mM Glycine, 25 mM Arginine, 150 mM NaCl, pH7.5. Normally trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization. |
Molecular Mass : |
This protein carries a human IgG1 Fc tag at the C-terminus. The mature Mucin-1 is a non-covalent heterodimeric complex with the proteolytically cleaved N-terminal fragment and C-terminal fragment. Each N-terminal fragment and C-terminal fragment has a calculated MW of 7.2 kDa and 32.8 kDa. The protein migrates as 48 kDa (precursor protein) and 40-45 kDa (C-terminus) under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation. |
Proteinlength : |
Leu254-Gly373 |
Endotoxin : |
Less than 1.0 EU per μg by the LAL method. |
Purity : |
>90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. |
Storage : |
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
Reconstitution : |
It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.2 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4°C before opening to recover the entire contents. |
