|Product Overview:||Recombinant Human FGF20(Met1~Thr211) fused with Hs tag at N-terminal was expressed in E. coli.|
|Description:||The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the fibroblast growth factor family. The fibroblast growth factors possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities, and are involved in a variety of biological processes including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth and invasion. This gene product is a secreted neurotrophic factor but lacks a typical signal peptide. It is expressed in normal brain, particularly the cerebellum, and may regulate central nervous system development and function. Homodimerization of this protein was shown to regulate its receptor binding activity and concentration gradient in the extracellular matrix. Genetic variations of this gene have been associated with Parkinson disease susceptibility.|
|Form:||PBS, pH7.4, containing 0.01% SKL, 1mM DTT, 5% Trehalose and Proclin300.|
|Applications:||Positive Control; Immunogen; SDS-PAGE; WB.

|Stability:||The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 centigrade for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.|
|Storage:||Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Store at 2-8 centigrade for one month. Aliquot and store at -80 centigrade for 12 months.|
|Reconstitution:||Reconstitute in PBS or others.|
|Gene Name:||FGF20 fibroblast growth factor 20 [ Homo sapiens ]|
