Description : | This gene encodes a secreted ligand of the TGF-beta (transforming growth factor-beta) superfamily of proteins. Ligands of this family bind various TGF-beta receptors leading to recruitment and activation of SMAD family transcription factors that regulate gene expression. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate each subunit of the disulfide-linked homodimer. This protein is required for normal formation of some bones and joints in the limbs, skull, and axial skeleton. Mutations in this gene are associated with Klippel-Feil syndrome, microphthalmia, and Leber congenital amaurosis. |

Write a reviewGDF6 has low pollution, safety and health, and is suitable for long-term use.
These are very convenient to use, and the results are very good, I highly recommend them.
The quality is very good, the experimental effect is in line with expectations, will continue to use.
Q&As (6)
Ask a questionStudying the regulatory mechanism of GDF6 protein requires the comprehensive use of various experimental methods and techniques, such as gene knockout, transcriptome analysis, and protein-protein interaction.
GDF6 protein has a complex relationship with other proteins, and can interact with other proteins and participate in a variety of biochemical reactions.
Abnormal expression levels of GDF6 protein may indicate some diseases related to bone and cartilage development.
GDF6 protein is associated with some bone diseases, such as osteoporosis, poor fracture healing, etc.
The activity of GDF6 protein can be modulated in a variety of ways, including protein modification (e.g., phosphorylation), binding to ligands, interaction with cell surface receptors, etc.
There are currently no drugs that directly regulate the expression level of GDF6 protein, but some diseases related to GDF6 protein can be treated by regulating its activity or regulating its expression.
