Species : Human
Source : HEK293
Protein Length : 23-125 aa
Description : This antimicrobial gene is part of a chemokine superfamily that encodes secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The protein encoded is thought to be involved in T cell trafficking. The encoded protein binds to C-X-C motif chemokine 3 and is a chemoattractant for lymphocytes but not for neutrophils.
Form : Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS with Trehalose.
Bio-activity : Measured by its ability to chemoattract BaF3 mouse pro-B cells transfected with mouse CXCR3. The ED50 for this effect is 0.020-0.300 μg/mL.
Molecular Mass : 12 kDa
Endotoxin : < 0.10 EU/μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Purity : > 95%, by SDS-PAGE visualized with Silver Staining and quantitative densitometry by Coomassie® Blue Staining.
Storage : Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below. Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70 centigrade as supplied. 1 month, 2 to 8 centigrade under sterile conditions after reconstitution. 3 months, -20 to -70 centigrade under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
Shipping : The product is shipped at ambient temperature.
Reconstitution : Reconstitute at 100 μg/mL in PBS.
N-terminal Sequence Analysis : Thr23
