Description : FGF-7 (KGF) is a member of the fibroblast growth factor family. FGF-7 is expressed in mesenchymal origin cells. FGF-7 plays an important role in the regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation and cell differentiation. FGF-7 is required for normal branching morphogenesis, growth factor active on keratinocytes. FGF-7 is possible major paracrine effector of normal epithelial cell proliferation.
