Bio-activity : Human IL-18BP, His Tag inhibits the IL-18-induced IFN-gamma secretion by KG‑1 cells. The ED50 for this effect is 0.019-0.053 µg/mL in the presence of 30 ng/mL of Recombinant Human IL‑18.
Molecular Mass : This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.The protein has a calculated MW of 18.5 kDa. The protein migrates as 32-50 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

Endotoxin : Less than 1.0 EU per μg by the LAL method.

Reconstitution : It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.2 ug/ul. Centrifuge the vial at 4°C before opening to recover the entire contents.
