• Description: The predicted molecular weight of therecombinant FLT3 Ligand is 19.9 kDa, but the recombinant protein migrates astwo bands with an apparent MW 20 and 22 kDa in SDS-PAGE as a result ofglycosylation.
• Source: Hordeum vulgare(barley grain). Barley grain exhibits up to 50 times less protease activitythan E. coli or mammalian cells. Barley seed is void of any human or animalviral contaminants that could jeopardize cell culture.

• Storage: Store lyophilizedprotein at -20°C and reconstituted protein in working aliquots at -20°C witha carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) as a stabilizer for long term storage.
