Recombinant Mouse Interleukin 4 Induced 1, His-tagged

Cat. No.: Il4i1-653M
Product Overview: RecombinantMouse Il4i1 protein was expressed in Chinese HamsterOvary cell line. Leu21-Ser630, with a C-terminal 6-His tag.
Description: Il4i1 wasfirst identified in mouse B cells as part of the response to IL-4, a keyregulator of the immune response. Later, the enzyme was shown to be a memberof the flavin-containing amino acid oxidase family and closely related toL-amino acid oxidases. Enzymological characterization reveals that Il4i1 hasL-amino acid oxidase activity with preference toward aromatic amino acids. Its limited expression in immune tissues, dendritic cells, and macrophagesindicates that it may play an importantfunction in the immune system.
Source: Chinese HamsterOvary cell line, CHO-derived.
Form: Supplied as a 0.2 umfiltered solution in Sodium Acetate and NaCl.
N-terminalSequence: Leu21
MolecularWeight: 69 kDa
Activity: Measuredby its ability to produce hydrogen peroxide during the oxidation of phenylalanine. The specific activity is > 100 pmol/min/μg, as measured under thedescribed conditions.
