Native Bovine ACTC1 Protein, Pyrene labeled

Cat.No.: ACTC1-885B
Product Overview: Native Bovine ACTC1 with a pyrenyl group covalently bound to Cys374 at the C-term of the molecule was purified from Bovine cardiac.
Description: G-actin from cardiac muscle is a single chain polypeptide with a molecular weight of 42kD consisting of 375 amino acids. Pyrene actin is chemically modified G-actin, carrying a pyrenyl group covalently bound to Cys374 at the C-term of the molecule. Pyrene Actin (10%) contains 10% of pyrenyl actin with a dye/protein molar ratio of 1.0.
Source: Bovine cardiac
Species: Bovine
Form: 2mM Tris-Cl pH 8.2, 1.0mM ATP, 0.5mM DTT, 0.1mM CaCl2, 1mM NaN3 and 0.3% disaccharides, when reconstituted with 1.0 ml ultrapure water to obtain a 1mg/ml solution.
Molecular Mass: 42kDa
Purity: >99% by scanning densitometry.
Applications: Fluorimetrical Analysis of actin dynamics (e.g. kinetics of polymerization, nucleation, depolymerization)
