| Description : |
GDH (Glucose dehydrogenase): GDH catalyze the dehydrogenation of glucose to produce gluconic acid (lactone), and reduce NAD(P)+ to NAD(P)H, with NAD(P)+ as electron receptor. GDH is often used for the regeneration of coenzyme NAD(P)H in biocatalysis fields with other main enzyme. |
| Applications : |
1. Normally, the reaction system should include substrate, buffer solution, enzyme, and coenzyme.
2. If GDH is used for coenzyme regeneration, the main enzyme is necessary, and the reaction system should be designed according to the main enzyme. |
| Notes : |
Never contact with extreme conditions such as: high temperature, high/low pH and high concentration organic solvent. |
| Storage : |
Keep 2 years below -20 centigrade. |
| Advantages : |
1. High substrate specificity.
2. High conversion.
3. Less by-products.
4. Mild reaction conditions.
5. Environmentally friendly. |
