Description: Interleukin-22 (IL22)is protein that in humans is encoded by the IL22 gene. IL22 a member of agroup of cytokines called the IL-10 family or IL-10 superfamily (includingIL-19, IL-20, IL-24, and IL-26), a class of potent mediators of cellular inflammatoryresponses. It shares use of IL-10R2 in cell signaling with other members ofthis family, IL-10, IL-26, IL-28A/B and IL-29.

Reconstitution: Centrifugevial prior to opening. First add sterile water to the vial to fullysolubilize the protein to a concentration not less than 100 µg/ml. After completesolubilization of the protein, it can be further diluted to other aqueoussolutions.
Storage: Lyophilizedsamples are stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, but it is recommended tostore them desiccated at -20°C to -80°C. Upon reconstitution, protein shouldbe stored at 2-4°C for one week and for six months at -20°C to -80°C. Add acarrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) as a stabilizer for long term storage.Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
